On July 16, 2022, the new 988 crisis line launched nationwide. Here’s what you should be aware of if you or someone you know needs behavioral health crisis services in Delaware:
- Someone to talk to: The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and Veterans Crisis Line can now be reached by simply calling or texting a three-digit number, 988, and can also still be accessed at the existing number 1-800-273-8255.
- Other crisis response: Use existing numbers for other hotlines and crisis services, especially if an in-person response is needed. For mobile crisis response call:
