Who ever said lawyers always take themselves too seriously? The bi-annual musical comedy adventure written and performed by members of the Delaware Bar will take place November 20 – 22. The shows feature prosecutors and defense attorneys, corporate lawyers and tort lawyers, legal services lawyers and judges, singing, dancing and acting into hilarity in a show titled The Crucible: Plymouth Rocks! As they do every two years with a work of depressing great literature, these distinguished practitioners have turned Arthur Miller’s classic tale of a hysterical witch hunt into an even more hysterical comedy. And all of the proceeds go to the Combined Campaign for Justice, the Delaware Bar’s annual effort to raise much needed funds for the provision of legal services to Delaware’s most needy residents.
The Friday and Saturday evening shows (November 20 and 21) will be staged at the beautiful Tatnall School auditorium, and the Sunday matinee (November 22) at the historic Schwartz Center for the Arts in Dover. Visit the show’s official website for more information and to purchase tickets.
